Industrial Development Biorentention

Located along the South Patte River, a low lying industrial district with a long history of soil contamination and flooding, the property is being redeveloped as a warehouse and light industrial complex. Artifex is designing bioretention facilities to alleviate nuisance flooding, provide water quality improvements, and integrate the stormwater elements within the proposed landscape plan.

The proposed bioretention devicesz will function as porous landscape detention, allowing shallow infiltration and overflow control, within a landscape of native and stormwater adapted species of grasses and shrubs.

The resulting site design will meet the clients needs to provide full use of the property, reduce property damage and maintenance concerns, and provide a significant improvemnt to the appearance of the property for clients and customers.
