North Carolina Museum of Art Expansion

ArtifexED is working with a team of designers and consultants to design and implement the expansion of the North Carolina Museum of Art in Raleigh, design by Thomas Phifer + Partners. The expansion program will provide new gallery space, upgrade and improve the existing facilities, and a reconfiguration of the museum grounds to realize the Museum's master plan. Artifex provides site engineering and stormwater design , working with landscape architect Lappas + Havener, PA to develop an integrated landscape for the museum grounds that includes bioretention, stormwater runoff collection and reuse,and water conserving planting schemes.
